Hedgehog Awareness Week this year is from Sun 30 April to Sat 6 May.

Adisham has a resident hedgehog population, especially at the north end of The Street. If you put out food or water and ensure your garden is accessible - with a hole in the fence or gap under the gate for hedgehogs to pass through - you are likely to get a visitor.

Hedgehogs and other wildlife especially like "untidy" gardens: let your grass grow longer or build a log pile.
